Jo Robertson is a versatile and fun maternity clothing designer who studied 'fashion and design' at Wanganui Polytechnic. After graduation, she worked in the fashion industry in retail and factory, before heading back to University to do a 'Diploma in Teaching' and entering the education sector.
In 2002, Jo become pregnant and her hormones drove her back to her first love: Fashion. Seeing a huge gap in the market for 'high fashion' maternity clothing, she began creating maternity clothes tailored to the ever-changing pregnant form. Her label - Jo Robertson Maternity Wear – has taken her on many new challenges, not least of all becoming a mum.
